  7. DOCUPOWER PRO 3.1/W6:

  9. 1. Full color DocuPower Pro toolbar. Has three buttons:
  10.    - Open DocuPower Folders
  11.    - Add To DocuPower Folder
  12.    - Address Book

  14. 2. Compatibility upgrade eliminates memory conflicts with WOPR 6.0x
  15.  
  16. 3. Custom File Open dialog now recognizes default document
  17.    directory in WinWord 6.x. Shows standard file open information
  18.    as well as list of DocuPower folders.

  21. DOCUPOWER PRO 3.0:

  23. 1. Longer document descriptions: up to 255 characters! 
  24.    How do we do it? We've added a horizontal scroll bar 
  25.    to the description list in the folder dialog. So feel 
  26.    free to express yourself.

  28. 2. A new button has been added to the main folders screen: 
  29.    the Global Options button. This provides control over 
  30.    two new/enhanced features: the Custom File Open dialog
  31.    box, and the Folder Default Display. Each feature can 
  32.    be selectively enabled or disabled.

  34. 3. Custom File Open dialog box. Displays DocuPower Pro 
  35.    folder list as well as the standard  directory-drive-file 
  36.    lists: all on one window. Now you can do either a regular 
  37.    File|Open or a DocuPower Pro open every time, with no extra 
  38.    steps. When disabled, the standard WinWord File|Open dialog 
  39.    box is displayed.

  41. 4. Folder Default Display. Can be selectively enabled and 
  42.    disabled. When enabled, Folder Default Display returns 
  43.    you to the last folder you were working on by default 
  44.    every time you run DocuPower Pro. That is to say, that 
  45.    FOLDER NAME will be highlighted automatically on the 
  46.    folder list.

  48. 5. New "Add File Description" screen. Instead of entering 
  49.    your document descriptions into a simple edit field, 
  50.    now you have a combo box. So you can see all the 
  51.    other document descriptions in that folder while you 
  52.    are adding your new document. This is very handy for 
  53.    version control and uniform document descriptions. For 
  54.    example, it's now easy to simply append a "-2" to the 
  55.    end of an existing description to make a new description 
  56.    for the second draft of a document.

  58. 6. "Add File" improvements. The "Add File" dialog box now 
  59.    has an improved keyboard and mouse interface for 
  60.    selecting files. For example, you can now add a file 
  61.    simply by DOUBLE-CLICKING on the file name. You can 
  62.    also change directories using only the keyboard. And 
  63.    the current directory path (over the directories list 
  64.    box) now appears in the color BLUE, for enhanced 
  65.    readability.

  67. 7. "Copy" button. There is now a simple way to copy document 
  68.    descriptions from one folder into another. Just click 
  69.    the "Copy" button (located in the folder screen underneath 
  70.    the "Move" button). Remember, one of DocuPower Pro's most 
  71.    powerful features is the ability to keep the same 
  72.    document in as many folders as you want, simultaneously. 
  73.    Put the same material in different folders to organize 
  74.    it in different ways. Remember, it only appears on the 
  75.    disk once, so there is no space problem or version 
  76.    control hassle.

  78. 8. "Reports" button. The "Status" button has been replaced 
  79.    by a new button: "Reports". You can now generate extremely 
  80.    comprehensive status reports for each individual folder, 
  81.    as well as *global* reports for all documents in all 
  82.    folders. Just click the "Report" button inside any 
  83.    folder screen.

  85. 9. Improvements to the "Choose Directory" and "Copy File" 
  86.    dialog boxes (in the "File Management" utility). These 
  87.    screens now have color labels to indicate the current 
  88.    directory, improved mouse and keyboard handling, etc.

  90. 10. New ordering information in the "About" screen: order 
  91.     on-line via our customer support BBS.

  93. 11. Better integration with international (non-English) 
  94.     versions of WinWord.

  96. 12. Smaller archive file size (cut down by half). Faster 
  97.     downloading and uploading means lower on-line connect
  98.     time charges.

  100. 13. The "Salutation Set Up" in the TSS Address Book now 
  101.     defaults to Dear Honorific + Last Name (this is only 
  102.     relevant to new TSS Address Book users).

  104. 14. More descriptive button face text in the 3 button 
  105.     "Add To DocuPower Pro Folder" dialog box.

  107. 15. Keyboard alert: changes in button text and the addition 
  108.     of a button have necessitated some changes to accelerator

  110.     the folder window.
